Every little girl does this at least once- right??? Right??!!!?
Usually when Katie disappears, she's in my bathroom applying dark lipstick all over the lower region of her face. TODAY, she found hair cutting scissors. Her long blonde hair is cut clear to her scalp in several places on one side of her head.
SO, I made an appointment all quick like with a hairdresser, and this is what we came up with:
Katie's natural part is on the OTHER side, but for now we'll part it to cover up the shearing. (which is on her right side.)
Below you can see that the hair that is LEFT doesn't do the greatest job of covering the holes, but at least it's a good story to tell!
Her Grandma was inspired to throw 3 new packages of barettes in a recent care package- I think it will help to cover some holes and add some style to the new 'do!
P.S., yes, you do see the remnants of a black eye from a week ago and yes, it was Sam. That is an entirely different story.

Oh no. My girls have done that at least once. Trinidee's done it a few times, but luckily it was not too noticeable. I think they've grown out of that stage, hopefully.

Dawna! Can't believe it! Not to worry, Megan has totally done the same thing and we've made the trip to the hairstylist....and I've threatened that if she does it again, we'll cut her hair like a boy. She's not touched the scissors to her hair since! :) Love ya tons!

She is SO cute and looks EXACTLY like you when you were young(er)!!! We also had a hair incident (not too bad) and SEVERAL talks about what we CUT with scissors and what we do NOT CUT!!
That'll teach her, cute little thing. Hopefully she doesn't play with the scissors again next time she wants a new, cute haircut.
