In September we went to Shane's mom's family farm in Idaho; this is Katie and her cousin "playing dominoes" at the farm. We always have a great time there.
My mom came from Indiana to Utah for a good chunk of October and November- here's Katie and Sam with Grandma Sharon.
My sisters Lorren and Debbie came for a long weekend while mom was visiting in October.
Me and Katie chillin'. Sam never was a binky addict, so Katie has taken over his old binkies which is good since we seem to lose about 4 a day! That pink and red sweater used to be mine.
You'll notice Sam wears this Superman shirt and cape in every picture... He's decided to go for the Guinness World Record of same shirt worn everyday indefinitely. Of course he was Superman for Halloween (same as last year...) and you should see when he puts on his fake glasses and tie and transforms into Clark Kent! It's quite a dramatic event.
Katie was a super happy ghost for Halloween.
On December 8th we moved to Jackson, Wyoming for Shane's work with Skywest Airline. These are the Tetons behind Sam, picture taken early November before the snow dumped down! We love Jackson- it's a skiing town with lots of tourists, therefore lots of fun stuff to do, and just an hour south of Yellowstone and an hour north of Star Valley, where Shane's Dad grew up. The scenery is breathtaking.
Shane took this picture the other morning when it was -12 degrees, looking at the mountains from the airport where he works every day- he's in heaven. (Even more so I bet when it warms up a bit!) The population of Jackson is around 8,500. It's fun for me to live in a small town again- even smaller than Vincennes!

One of our favorite things to do here so far (and definitely Sam's favorite) is go to the rec. center swimming pool- they have an awesome kid section with water slides and heated water so it's fun to be all warm and toasty inside and look out the windows at the snow falling!

Hey Gelb! Great pics of the kids--thanks for keeping me updated with you guys. Hope you enjoy Wyoming and keep warm. We took the kids to Temple Square to see the lights, and I was just watching all the sister missionaries working....they look so young! Man, I'm old.
